JAKARTA MARATHON 2017
Continuing its success in previous editions, the Jakarta Marathon will again turn the streets of the capital city of Jakarta into a colossal race track for 16,000 of runners on Sunday, 29rd October 2017. This mega sport-tourism event is jointly presented by the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia and the Jakarta Provincial Government in cooperation with promoters INSPIRO. As always, the Jakarta Marathon 2017 will feature 5 categories which are: The Full Marathon (42.195KM), the Half Marathon (21KM), 10K, 5K, and Maratoonz (Children’s Sprint). With the Start and Finish Line at Jakarta’s iconic Monument National (MONAS), the race will again pass some of Jakarta’s most prestigious landmarks. The Jakarta Marathon’s route has received certification from the Association of International Marathon and Distance Races (AIMS) and the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) with elevation level 0 m/km.
